1. OUR SERVICE

“Rent A Clothes Rack” is our secondhand department with in our very popular retail store PRETTYBIRD.  We provide a seamless way for you to resell your good quality garments, earn money and help leave the world in a better place for our future generations. 

You will only be allowed to sell clean and undamaged clothing in our store. We reserve the right to reject and remove any items that we find unsuitable for sale or presentation in the store. 

The seller agrees to the following below terms and conditions set by PRETTYBIRD. We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any time.

2. BOOKING A RACK - RATES & CONDITIONS

Prettybird Rozelle has a second hand department with in our store – strictly for individuals to sell their private owned and preloved items.

Rental fee is:

• One week One RACK: $110 + 10% GST = $121 (plus 10% of your total sales)
• Two weeks One RACK $200 + 10% GST = $220 (plus 10% of your total sales)

Rental Conditions:

1. A rack can be booked on our website ( www.prettybird.com.au )
2. When making a booking we need to sign you up to our online booking system.  This is where you are able to make your price tags, check your booking, keep an eye on your already sold items and update your personal information.
3. A full payment of the rack must be made at least 2 weeks prior to your rental starting date. If you are unable to commence your already booked and paid rental you can postpone your booking. In case you need to cancel your booking or want to reschedule we need a minimum of 1 weeks notice. No refunds are issued.  If you need to postpone your rental with less than 1 weeks notice and a suitable customer can't be found by the date your booking was supposed to start, we will reduce the postponed rental time by as many days as the rack has been empty without a new booking.  
4. Prettybird provides all the coat hangers for your items. We concentrate on clothing items, shoes and bigger accessories. No jewellery or other merchandise must be sold.
5. It is strictly forbidden to sell any fake or bootleg items. Prettybird  reserves the right to remove any unfit item from sale. The rack holder is fully responsible for any damages as a result of failure to comply to these conditions. Selling stolen items or someone else’s belongings is strictly forbidden. The rack holder must confirm they have the rights to the items brought for sale. Any malpractice we reserve the right to inform the police.
6. The rack must not be too full. Our rack is up to 40 coat hangers and 5 accessories which included up to 3 pairs of shoes.
7. If the rack is too full it might damage it as well as be a hindrance to the sale of your items. Rack with too many coat hangers and shoes on it looks messy and is hard to keep tidy. Prettybird has the right to remove any extra items from your rack. You are welcome to replace sold items with new garments throughout your rental period within the store’s opening hours.
8. You can price your items online which later gives you more detailed information about your sales. Price tags with barcode are printed on a paper (we prefer thick paper) and you are able to do this at home or collect them from Prettybird (for a fee of $2 per sheet) . Our POS is only able to read tags with a barcode so it is absolutely necessary that all items have price tags created through our platform.
9. You are able to keep track of your sold items online. The system updates itself every 10 minutes.
10. The price tags must be well attached to each item. We cannot sell an item without a tag. If you wish to change the price of an item a new tag must be generated to update the system. Please see the staff for assistance. Should you wish to lower the price of everything on your rack we recommend you put the same discount across all your garments.  We then put a discount sign on your rack and update our system with your discount percentage.
11. If we find an item without a price tag there is a specific basket where these items are put. 
12. Make sure you check it and claim any lost property when visiting us. Prettybird stores these items for 2 weeks. After this these items become the property of Prettybird.
13. Prettybird has a strict no return/exchange policy. We are not responsible for any faulty products.
14. We are open 7 days a week. You can book a rack for as many weeks as you like. You are welcome to come and set up your rack first thing after we open.
15. When your rack rental finishes you must empty your rack at least one hour before we close, (4pm on a Sunday)  It is possible for the staff of Prettybird to pack up your rack for you if required, but you must inform us minimum 2 days prior. The price for this service is $30. In case the rack isn’t emptied by the time the rent finishes $30 packing fee will be taken out of your sales. We store any unclaimed items for 1 weeks, after that if still unclaimed by the owner they become property of Prettybird. 
16. Some of the items might accidentally travel from one rack to another, but the staff does their best to return everything back to their own racks. This doesn’t mean these items won’t be on sale. As long as they are in the store someone is able to buy them and with your tag attached the profit goes to your account. After you finish your rack rental it is important to go through the store and other racks for possible misplaced items.
17. In case we find more of your items after your finished rental we store them for 2 weeks. If we sell some of your forgotten/misplaced items after your rental is finished and we have already paid the money you made, it is your responsibility to claim these profits.
18. Prettybird takes no responsibility for stolen or lost property but we do our best for this not to happen. All witnessed cases of theft in store are reported to police. We take no responsibility for the damage of your items in case of a fire, water damage, burglary, vandalism or any other factor undependable on us. 
19. Prettybird reserves the right to tidy your stall within your rack rental period. We will not use your rack to store any of our own property.
20. By signing the agreement rack holder gives permission to Prettybird to post photos and/or videos in our social media pages of items on sale. This might be very beneficial to your sales.
21. It is strictly forbidden to attach your own shelves, baskets, racks or any additional parts to your rack. You must only use the space, racks and shelves provided by Prettybird.
22. For fire safety reasons it is forbidden to leave any items on the floor or in front of emergency exits. When you bring your items in please do not leave any of your boxes or transporting bags in the store. We reserve the right to remove and dispose anything we find unnecessary. 
23. We will pay your profits to your nominated bank account within 14 days after your rack rental finishes. A valid ID must be presented at the time of your final account.
24. Should you wish to cancel the rack rental before it is finished, we pay the profits you’ve made so far, but no refunds of the unused rent is issued. We retain any unclaimed profits for 2 weeks.
25. Bank account details for profit payouts need to be provided by email to store email address. If the bank account details provided are incorrect, and payout is done to a wrong bank account, Prettybird is not liable for incorrect bank transfer and client might loose the payout if bank won't refund it.
